Dr. Jesper Fritz is an orthopaedic knee surgeon based in Abu Dhabi, specializing exclusively in complex knee injuries and revision (failed) knee surgeries, particularly in professional and recreational athletes. With advanced training across South Africa, Australia, and Sweden—and mentorship under internationally renowned knee surgeons from the United States and the United Kingdom—he brings a global perspective to patient care. His clinical expertise includes ligament reconstructions (ACL, PCL, and collateral ligaments), multiligament knee injuries and dislocations, meniscal repairs and transplants, cartilage restoration and transplantation, patellofemoral instability, osteotomies, and complex combined or revision procedures. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Fritz is actively engaged in research and education, delivering international lectures, symposia, and surgical training courses focused on advanced techniques and decision-making. He has received multiple accolades, including “Best Thesis” and “Best Presentation” awards from the Swedish Orthopaedic Association and the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research. He is a member of leading global societies such as International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and is board certified in both Sweden and the United Arab Emirates.
