Dr Rahul Shivadey is an accomplished arthroscopy and sports medicine specialist having performed 3500+ knee and shoulder arthroscopic procedures and 2500+ trauma and replacement surgeries. A university topper with gold medal and a fellowship from Budapest under Prof Hangody. He is the founder member of INDIAN CARTILAGE SOCIETY and is presently the President of the society .He has served as the
executive member of the ICRS and presently is the Chairperson of Membership and Bye-Laws committee 2023-2025 of ICRS. Dr Rahul is credited with performing the first single stage bilateral total knee replacement in Nasik. After moving to Dubai in 2010 he was with Zulekha hospitals as the head of department till May 2022. He has been credited with organizing the first live surgical demonstration of knee surgeries in Dubai in 2016 and again in 2017.Both the events were attended by 100 + delegates. In May 2023 (13-14th) he organized the first Cartilage specific Conference in UAE (www.icsdubai2023.ae) in association with ICS. This conference had 2 days events with the first Hands on Workshop for Cartilage Repaired the second full day conference. It was a grand success and was attended by 200+ delegates.
